GOD

*God provided the job we have that we sometimes put before Him.

*God gave us life to experience today that we may only give Him a few minutes of because we're too busy.

*God gave us a roof over our head but we seldom invite others under it for hospitality, to show love or to shelter them.

*God gave us our good health that we often use for ourselves and pleasure but seldom to serve others.

*God gave you the children you have but you communicate better with your phone than you do with them face to face.

*God has blessed you with a successful business but you care more about the money your business makes than the slavation of those who work for you and with you.

*God gave you friends but are they only a means to an end when you need something or do you genuinely communicate with them and value them?

*God is trying to speak to us but we don't open His Word, we rather listen to the message of music that doesn't celebrate God, or we ignore the people speaking truth and encouragement into our life.

*God gave us the families we have but we are not unified by the things that truly matter.

*God made us in His image to spread His glory and experience His grace, But we spend more time in the front of a shallow mirror trying to impress others rather than kneeling before the mirror of His Word.

*God loves us unconditionally and it is because of Him that we are able to love those in our lives. How are we sharing that love?

*God is the controller of time and the time in which He has given us here on earth. What are we doing with it? Is it all about us?

*God gave us the talents and intellect we have. Are we using it to boast ourselves or to make His name known and help others?

*God gave us the ability to speak, write, type, etc. How are we using that ability to benefit others?

*God is the King of Glory, Creator, Elohim, Deliverer, King Of Kings, Judge, Love, Forgiver, Holy, Hearer of our prayers, Just, Sovereign.....What will be our response to the One that created us as we live out this day?

As we evaluate where we are in our life, have we moved away from God in our relationship or toward Him.

Do we only cry out to Him when we're not happy or things don't go our way?

As we pause to think about God today...........May (WE) Press On and put our focus on the King! 🙂

The Life That Matters

 The Life That Matters

By: Tyararr J. Jones

How do you view yourself, the person in the mirror staring back at you,

The one that things he knows what is best and knows who he is to be and what do do?

Whos is more important, the rich or the poor,

Is it the one with no direction or the one with ambition and always strives for more?

What is your view of others through the ever changing lens through which you see,

Do you see color, economic status, a soul, a threat, or do you see someone equal to you and breathes the same air as thee?

Does your life have a purpose or were you just a senseless thought of accumulation?

Just another person seeking a vocal platform to sound off some temporary declaration.

How do you view your neighbor, not just the people that live close to your home,

But the people that walk past your daily and whom upon this earth also roam?

The people you choose to love, do they only look like you,

Do they talk, walk, think like you and support all the things you do?

Whose life is more important?, is the question our culture has tossed about,

Everyone fighting for a voice, pushing and shoving and arguing for the most clout.

Do we understand that we were created in the image of God?

That one group of people should not be raised above another and receive all human applaud.

We came into this world with nothing and the first thing given was a name,

We will leave this world with nothing and in eternity will have nothing in possession to claim.

Every person we see has value, for Jesus died for all people on the Cross,

When we view or treat others less than ourselves then we are the ones that truly suffer loss.

Jesus' life on earth is the life that most mattered above all men,

For He is the One that truly matters now and He truly mattered then.

Jesus died for all men, bore their sin and was buried in a grave,

He arose again three days later, conquered death that all men may be saved.

If we would practice loving like Jesus and start seeing people beyond the color of their skin,

We would see that what we all have in common is we all have a problem with sin.

The diversity of one's color is not a reflection of the character in which they contain,

We should be more quick to love and forgive and in our anger restrain.

What life truly matters is the question we must daily ask,

Loving others and Speaking Truth should be our daily task.

We may stand divided now and fight daily trying to be as one,

One day we will all bow and confess that Jesus is the Son.

As we arise daily and open our eyes to face the new challenges of the day;

May we strive to love each person and listen with our ears and heart to what they truly have to say.

Many people have died, but not all truly live,

The joy of both cannot be experienced until to God your life you fully give.

SEASON OF WAITING...GROWING...PRAYING..

SEASON OF WAITING...GROWING...PRAYING
By: Tyararr J. Jones
Seasons come and go. The timing we cannot control. But be discerning of those you allow to sit close to your soul. We are not just to sit and wait but stay active through the season. For what the Lord allows along the journey is for a divine reason. How often things and people change as the seasons of life lead us along the way, may we find rest and seek the Lord as we experience each new day. There are times to just sit and think and times to walk and wander, but may our words, actions, and attitudes always reflect our Jesus who doesn't allows us to far sqaunder. Press on along the journey and embrace obedience, patience, and love. For one day your season will bring you face to face with God our Father above.

MY WILDERNESS

MY WILDERNESS
by: Tyararr Jones

The loud jeers of the journey and the
heckling from the hassles of the day,
Cause me to steer from the path and beckon
more for the return of the Messiah, my joy my stay.
O the chants from the enemy who
comes before me with many faces,
He creeps about in my desires and thoughts
and lingers in my secret places.
In the silence of my pondering within my
heart, the battle of wrong vs right,
Weariness grasps at my vigor, faith, hope,
my joy; wanting me to give up in the fight.
The posture of my mind, heart, and knees strive for
union to God in peace and humility,
Relying not on my own strength, wisdom,
and knowledge and God given ability.
The road of my journey has led to instances of joy,
disappointment, growth, heartache and blame,
But the light to my path has been God's Word, and
relying fully in the sovereignty of Jesus' name.
My brothers and sisters, take heart though your faith and
character are being tried,
You walk not alone in the fury, for Jesus is constantly
at work and faithfully by your side.
O the breaking of the dawn, the early
rising to find my stay,
We must not lose heart in the struggle or lose hope,
for Jesus is the Creator of the day.
I press on wit ha confidence that is familiar
but is not my own,
Embracing the scriptures of God and the many Truths
I have been shown.
Though the voices in my life grow silent and my spirit
feels broken and at a loss,
May I stand, contend, fight, strive, press on, and
stay the course as I daily embrace the Cross.

PONDERINGS FROM THE SANDBOX: By Tyararr Jones

What if we decided to actually live Biblically. As I ponder my own stumblings and down sittings, and the countless conversations I’ve had with strangers, friends, brothers and sisters in Christ, etc.; my heart and mind bow humbly in conversation.
**We complain about our broken and struggling relationships…But how often do we go into relationships not seeking some temporary happiness but rather to love genuinely and  honor God and help that person fulfill what they were created to do. (Glorify God)
**We say that we don’t feel loved or walk around in anger because we don’t feel loved…But did we quit thinking of ourselves for a moment today to reach out to someone else in love? Jesus’ love for us is everlasting. His love for us isn’t based on our mood.
**We say that our hearts are not at peace and we’re not sure what the next step is we are to take…But we neglect the Prince of Peace daily, neglecting His Word, and trusting in our own wisdom and understanding. In doing so, peace will be fleeting.
**We say that we love Jesus…But everything we did today sang a song of selfishness and boasting self. Did we speak His name with our lips?
**We boast about how great God is…But we live our lives at times as if the greatest and best of life is right here, right now. No, the best is yet to come. Jesus is coming back.
**We have been Christianized through Christian schools, camps, bible studies, programs, Sunday School stories in our knowledge of Christ…but living as a Christian (Christ-like)(Biblically) seems like a distant fairytale in the society we live in. Don’t give up!
**We don’t like to be called out on the wrong, dumb things we do and choices we make…But we are quick to blame our reason for not going to church or living as we should on the hypocrites that are out there. “Life is choices, Choices have consequences, make the right choices.”
**We will lay down tonight feeling as if our day was unfulfilling…Each day that goes by and we don’t obey God’s daily will and we focus on ourselves, we will feel empty. All we have is temporary.
**We are broken, hurt, discouraged, weak, selfish, impatient, in need; trying to fix ourselves by listening to the world’s logic(do what feels good, you deserve whatever you want)…God’s hands created us and only His hands can mend our lives in the way they should be.
**We complain about the tune of our lives and the different notes we don’t care for…But we must understand that the tune God has for our lives is best for us. When we walk with Him in Obedience, we will experience a harmony of fellowship like none other.
**Can you picture God and Satan singing together in harmony? No, me either. That seems ludicrous even thinking about it. So why do we live as if we can live in Harmony trying to live for Christ but bask in the things of the world? Choose your tune carefully. The last note of our life here is bound in eternity. Press On!!

A PERSONAL CHAT WITH GOD

A PERSONAL CHAT WITH GOD
By: Tyararr J Jones

What's on my mind? Well my Father woke me up this morning. My Father went before me today preparing my day for me. Not sure what all lies ahead, but my Father told me He would walk with me along the way. My heart is burdened for some dear friends of mine, but my Father told me not to worry because He has a plan for them and will take care of it. I told my Father that my heart and mind are still not settled at this place of my journey and He said, "Of course you're not settled, You're not home yet." I asked my Father how will I get through my busy long day. He asked me to tell Him who created the day.(You did God) I asked my Father why I should keep seeking after and loving the people that come to mind even if they never answer or get back on track. He told me to tell Him how He responds when I get off track and don't respond. (Father, you keep loving me and seeking after me no matter how long) I asked my Father what I should do to help me stay more constant along my journey. He said to keep having conversations like this everyday humbly and honestly. By the way Tyararr, yes Father? PRESS ON!

LIVE TO LOVE...LOVE TO LIVE...THAT YOU MAY LOVE LIKE JESUS

May our love be not bound by the boundaries of skin color, financial status, hurt, bitterness, family or some other temporary restrain,
Our focus must remain on Christ our Redeemer, Savior, King, Comforter, our Greatest Example of love who gave Himself and bore our pain.

What do we live for as we awake and partake in each day that has been wrapped in grace by God as a gift for us to live and enjoy,
Bombarded by the devices of our wicked heart to distract, frustrate, hinder, discourage, and our day to search and destroy.

We must live to love others, not out of duty, but devotion, for we are love beyond what we can truly measure,
God has given us forgiveness, hope, faith, grace, strength, mercy, joy, and we are to be funnels to others of God's divine treasure.

Loving others like Jesus is very hard as we daily deal with disagreements, judgmental attitudes, and comparing ourselves to the outward appearance of man,
Loving God, loving others as we love ourselves, serving, giving, caring, listening, and sharing the gospel is the true life and God's true Biblical plan.

We may struggle at times with living to love, loving to live that we may love like Jesus and truly make a difference in the lives of others in this world so temporary and dark,
It is times like these that we must stay the course, press on, seek the Lord daily, bow in prayer often, that we may daily on this earth leave a Christian mark.

Loving like Jesus is more than just the words that we utter in the moment, but the continuous actions of loving others even when we don't want to or it doesn't benefit you,
We must think and live Biblicaly day by day and being a funnel of God's love to those around us and faithfully live for Christ and do the things we should do.

.....Press On!
Do you love your family? Do you love your friends? Do you love your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ? Do you love those you work with? Do you love the strangers that walk by? May the Love we show today and everyday not just being in the words we use in how we talk to them but also in how we treat them. Love by listening, caring, giving, helping, encouraging, accepting, forgiving...loving when you need to feel loved. Loving when it is someone who has shut you out. Loving when the love is not returned. The Love we are able to show is only because of the Love of Christ and the love He showed by His work on the Cross. Keep pressing on today in Love!

A SEASON OF TIME

A Season of Time
By: Tyararr J. Jones

Seasons of time quickly pass changing drastically upon our way,
Sprinkling upon us joy, sadness, ups and downs, and other mysteries to our day.

The duration of each season cannot be controlled by the temporal hands of man,
But directed by the will of God and carried out according to His eternal plan.

You may be experiencing a season that is trying and straining you to the core,
Press on and stay the course, for through Christ's strength and grace you can handle more.

Some seasons of time are enjoyable and we find them easy to embrace,
Others test us, prod us, change us, and put us properly in our place.

We may not be always ready for what circumstances our season of time may bring,
May we seek the Lord daily for wisdom and trust Him to orchestrate the tune our life should sing.

The face of each season may look familiar and sometimes a trial disguised as blessing,
We must embrace each season with grace and patience instead of with arms laced with stressing.

The posture of our hearts must be challenged to bow daily before the King,
He is the only one who truly orchestrates the seasons and what lessons to our life they bring.

I don't know what season is upon you or how long it will endure,
May your thoughts not become self-focused but focused on God's Word so rich and pure.

Stay the course faithfully seeking Christ in the midst of each season,
For God has a perfect plan and purpose and a divine reason.

IMPRINTS IN THE SAND

IMPRINTS IN THE SAND
By: Tyararr J. Jones

Is it too long for me to ask you to grow old with me and allow me to lead you hand in hand,
To love you, cherish you, listen to you, hold you, carry you when your footprints can no longer leave imprints in the sand? ....Bound by love.

I long for your face and love to be framed in every picture and canvas of my mind and beating heart,
I desire for you to be that priceless piece in my life's puzzle and in my life to always be a refreshing part. ....Bound by love.

To me you are a precious gem, a prized creation and special handiwork of God's divine plan,
As I pray for you, I ask God to help me to be to you a kind, faithful, honest, forgiving, disciplined, discerning, diligent and loving man. ....Bound by love.

O what joy you bring to me on this journey of life I daily tread,
Your name, your smile, your face, your voice, have a continual impression in my heart and in my head. ...Bound by love.

I hope you come to understand that how you are, what you do, the life music that you play,
Is the tune I long to be in my life, from this point on and every single day. ...Bound by love.

Time can not be controlled though I daily try to grasp it by the hand,
I stand as a man waiting to walk with you as we share this journey leaving our footprints in the sand. ...Bound by love.

GOD IS THERE

GOD IS THERE
By: Tyararr J. Jones

When the tune God has given you to dance to is not accepted by those you thought you could trust...God is there!
When the clouds of trial darken the bright start to your day...God is there!
When your face becomes weak because of the facade you wear as if everything is okay...God is there!
When friend becomes foe, stranger becomes friend, family becomes distant...God is there!
When strength has failed, zeal is depleted, and joy is gasping for an anchor...God is there!
When leadership is lacking, ignorance has a mouth and feet...God is there!
When your heart is broken, love betrayed, and your trust has no hand to hold...God is there!
When your prayers seem faint, your mind is not still and your pieace is lost...God is there!
When you have strayed from your faith, turned your back on what you know is right...God is there!
When you have been beaten down to your knees, the battle seems unbearable, and you fear whether to rise up one more time...God is there!
When you have been tossed aside, forgotten, overlooked, and you feel like no one cares...God is there!
When you have no hand to hold, no one to embrace, no one to whom you can sing...God is there!
When the rage inside seems hard to restrain, you have no more tolerance of the hurt and the pain...God is there!
When you wonder why you press on, why you should love the unlovable, care for those who have not cared for you, listen to others when you need the listening ear...God is there!
Before you utter the words, have the thought, express your feelings, experience what you endure...God was already there!!
.....PRESS ON!

HAND OF THE DAWN

HAND OF THE DAWN
    BY: Tyararr J. Jones

O Lord, take my hand and lead me on your glorious way,
My lips are silent, my heart cries out, stumbling on what to say.
Time beckons me daily, for its hands I cannot see,
Bind my heart and mind to the blessed hope of eternity.
Morning quickly changes to night, another day is swiftly at hand,
Help me to know your way like following Your footprints in the still sand.
O the Hand of the Dawn, O the Keeper of my way,
Quiet the rumblings of my thoughts, grant me peace that I may not sway.
Grant me strength in the moment, shield me from false promises of sin,
Knight me with a fierce passion for your glory, refresh me from within.
O God, may the fruit of our fellowship and my response to your constant voice,
Lead me to be the Godly man that applies your wisdom to daily choice.
O Hand of the Dawn, O the Keeper of my way,
As the battle rages from within and without, I wil ponder on you as my stay.
Onward on this journey, many hills and valleys I shall endure,
Fill my cup with Your truth, satisfy my taste on that which is pure.
May my feet move swiftly on the path covered with discernment and grace,
My eyes fixed securely on the joy of the day of finally seeing your face.
O Hand of the Dawn, O the Keeper of my way,
I stand here as yours, secure in your embrace; I shall press on till the final day.

FREE

FREE
By: Tyararr J. Jones

Released from the bondage of staying between man made temporary lines
Refreshed by the pursuit of what is right, honest, and divine.
No longer shackled by the ignorance and misconceptions of those who are supposed to lead,
Questioning my every motive, word, effort, and righteous deed.
Early I rise only to bow on bended heart and weary knee,
Grasping for perseverance, hope, strength, peace, and humility.
Oh the daily reminder of not relying on the knowledge and wisdom of well meaning man,
The stumbling through ignorance, small minds, closed focus and undiscerning plans.
The journey of my life continues to lead me on paths I do not understand,
God is faithful in His leading and timing, comforting me with His hand.
This peace in which I hold a priceless gift from above,
I treasure in heart and mind, stamped with my gratitude and love.

Scent Of Beautiful

SCENT OF BEAUTIFUL
By: Tyararr J. Jones

Beckoned by the tune of your beauty and who you are,
My silence of observation and reflection are awakened to a song of peace and joy,
By which you have become the pursuit of my heart.

The object of some of my deepest prayers you have been,
For a time that is as precious as you are to me.
My heart moved by the very thought of you and its desire to be joined with yours in a majestic symphony.

We pass by each day strangers to what could be though inwardly I'm pursuing God for your heart, a treasure undeserved.
You have become a constant whisper of prayer from my lips to the God whom you belong,
The scent of your beauty has become my heart's song.

Each glance from you impresses a smile on my face and heart that I wish not to be removed,
Smitten in silence by a beauty that is not my own,
For now I gaze in wonder upon one of God's priceless creations.

The uncertainty of your response to this pursuit halts my every move,
Frozen in time this love of mine, I long to make it a treasure of thine.
Oh that you might give me a sign to put this longing heart at ease.

Hiding in the shadows of this distant chance,
I dare to be the man you choose to forever with in this life dance.
Forever lost in your glance, marked by your scent of beauty.

RUNNING FROM THE REAL YOU

RUNNING FROM THE REAL YOU

By:Tyararr J. Jones

In this day and age we must take heed where we stand,

Are you truly a child of God and resting in His hand?

We have been called to follow a cause that is greater than anything we will ever face,

Promised to have exactly what we need if we truly follow God and stay faithful to the race.

Oh how often we live our lives based so shallow only to how we feel,

Living miserably in our guilt from day to day, drained of our desire to serve Him with zeal.

We half-heartedly gaze into God's Word, the true revealing mirror to how we are livin,

Missing out on the true purpose of our existence and this temporary life we have been givin.

Do we surround ourselves only with those who accept us for the wrong that we do,

Or those who acknowledge the good and the bad and challenge us to live Godly and true?

As we reflect back on our life and evaluate the closeness of our spiritual walk,

Can we honselty say that in public and private, our walk matches our talk?

We will never have true peace if we continue to run our lives based only on how we feel and what we think is right,

For God has created us for a spiritual purpose to live by faith and not by sight.

As Christians, we have comfort and strength as we strive to be real and do what is right,

May we press on in this spiritual battle and continue in the fight.

In this day and age we must not run from the voice of truth and the path that is good,

May we stay faithful to our heavenly cause for Christ and doing the things we should.

P.s. Press on this day and week striving to be real. There is no need to pretend to be something that you are not. No matter your vocation or what you do, you are to be a Christian first. Whether you are at a christian college, christian ministry, secular job, secular school,...you have a responsibility to be a witness and live Christ to those around you. What matters right now is living for Christ and sharing Christ and living Christ with those around you. No matter where you are in your walk with the Lord, strive for more. Give Christ your best right now. You were created in His glory, for His glory. There is nothing greater than seeing the children of God, filled with the spirit of God, doing the will of God, led by the power of God, living for the glory of God. Keep pressing on!!!

MY HEART SMILES

My Heart Smiles
By: Tyararr J Jones

O the impression on my tender heart that your precious life has made in time, O the joy that springs from within, passionate and sublime.
Your voice so soft and sweet, a beautiful tune in the midst of my day, It silences the noise of stress in the things I do and in the things I want to say.
I cherish our lovely walks together in the park as we walk hand in hand, The times we talk at sunset on the beach with our toes in the sand.
O the moments I hold close when I catch your subtle glimpses from across the room, Still baffled by the gift of God of you as my godly, sweet bride and He allowing me to be your groom.

Day by day so graciously as we choose to journey this unpredictable path of life, May we be drawn so much closer in our love as we deal with conflict and strife.

Thank you for being the love of my life and a pleasant picture on the canvas of my heart, So honored that on this path of life you are a divine part.
My heart smiles not only today but each day that I’m allowed to be the recipient of your awesome love, For you are gift that has been granted me by my loving Father above…..Happy Valentines Day!

TUG OF WAR

TUG OF WAR
by: Tyararr J. Jones

You give me reason to sing Your praise and allow You to be the tune of my heart.

Instead, I cling to the tunes of the world and mimic my life through someone's song from a temporary mindset.

You promise and show me unconditional love beyond what I deserve that is true and eternal.

Instead, I crave the temporary stints of lust or passions that only cling to me for what they can get from me.

You promise me continual forgiveness and grace for my daily sins which flow from my wicked heart.

Instead, I at times float in my guilt and use that as an excuse to continue in my sin.

You have chosen me for a purpose that is eternal, above what I could ask or think; I am a child of Yours to serve you out of devotion, not duty.

Instead, I choose to serve my own purpose and be a slave to my emotions and passions to fulfill my flesh daily.

You provide for me daily gifts and blessings beyond my comprehension even when I do not seek You.

Instead, I open my heart and arms to the temporary pleasures of the world only to walk away dissatisfied.

You redeemed me by your blood on the Cross of Calvary. You bore the penalty of my sin.

Instead, I waste my time forgetting that my time here on earth is short. I should be redeeming my time because the days are evil.

You love me more than I can comprehend, You call to me daily reminding me of my true purpose.

Instead, I give in to my flesh and turn my back on what I know is right and those who encourage me to do right.

You faithfully, daily provide for me what I need to continue in the fight against sin and the temporary pleasures of my heart that seek to overtake me.

O God, please help me to fight today and to quit pulling away from you but walk toward You. For You are my Rock, my Help, my Peace, my Hope, my Strong Tower, my Salvation, my All. I shall press on!

PRAYER FOR THE MORNING

PRAYER FOR THE MORNING
By: Tyararr J. Jones
O Lord, renew my mind, this vessel in which you find a mess,
Give me strength for this day as I battle against the flesh.
Refresh my broken heart O God as I journey along the way,
Purge the longing of my soul, renew the joy of my day.
Give me ears of discernment, fill my cup to love those hard to love,
Merge my song to the tune of heaven, feed me with your promises from above.
Firm the ground where I stand, though alone it may sometimes be,
Keep my focus on the prize, keep Heaven on my heart O so vividly.
Thank you for meeting me here with bended heart on bended knee.
Continue to steer the reins of my heart and conform this weary soul to thee.
Thank you Lord for directing me to seek You and go hard for what is right,
May I meet you here again unceasingly as I press on in the fight.

MY KIND OF SONG

MY KIND OF SONG
By: Tyararr J. Jones
LAVISHED by the delicate tunes of your sweet voice,
LISTENING to the echo of your compassionate actions is my heart's choice.
LINKED to you in melody, to you my heart and soul belong,
LOCKED in to the notes imprinted on my heart from our friendhsip's song.
OVERWHELMED by your gift of love, a treasure I do not deserve,
OBLIVIOUS at times to the many ways in which I can you, daily serve.
OLBIGED I am to be the recipient of your heart's special treasure,
OCCUPIED on you my love and the joy of our friendship's pleasure.
VIVACIOUS and refreshing are the ornaments that decorate the time spent with you,
VIVID is the canvas of your beauty that expresses itself so humbly and true.
VOLUMINOUS are the expressions of joy I have when I get to see your face,
VEXATION finds me briefly when we cannot be in the same place.
EVERYDAY your smile awakens new emotions in me like the start of a brand new day,
EXUBERANCE hinges on every word and thought I wish to say.
EXCEEDINGLY and abundantly are the praises I have toward you to whom I love,
EVERLASTING praise belongs to the Orcherstrator, my Awesome God who reigns from above.
