THE GOD OF TODAY, YESTERDAY AND TOMORROW

THE GOD OF TODAY, YESTERDAY, AND TOMORROW
By: Tyararr J. Jones
You try to silence me in the pondering of your thoughts...But I am in the silence and the noise...I am God.
Our conversations have been distant, you cry out to me only in time of need...I am always communicating to you...I am God.
Life's grip of burdens have broken you and knocked you to your knees...Give me your burdens...I am God.
You are looking for love in all the wrong places...temporary objects of affection...I love you...I am God.
Guilt has robbed you of usefulness. You are caged by the grip of past mistakes. I forgive you...I am God.
Tomorrow scares you, for your faith is in temporary expectations. Put your faith in me...I am God.
Fear is bound to your heart and actions. The opinions of people control you. Fear not man or the future...I am God.
Rest in me, commit to me, trust in me, hope in me, delight in me, walk with me. I know and hold your future...I am God.

The words to this poem are completely reflective of my life right now. It is only by the Grace of God and His love that I can find life. I appreciate the simpleness of your words. I am thankful for the truth in your words.

Thanks for the encouragement today.
