THE HAND I HOLD

THE HAND I HOLD
By: Tyararr J. Jones
The hand I hold is bigger than the holes in which I fall,
Its comfort is more consuming than the grief I at times may bare.
Faithfully guided during times of questioning and pondering,
The hand I hold is strong.
The hand I hold is bigger than the trials I endure,
Its motive of constant care and direction is pure.
Patiently enduring my pulling away in times of pride and eccentric rebellion,
The hand I hold is patient.
The hand I hold is bigger than my sin,
It is the hand of God, so mighty and so strong.
A child of His I am and to Him I belong,
The hand that accepts my embrace is God's.
The hand that created the world created me,
The hand that breaks me also mends me.
The hand I hold is bigger than the fear that battles my faith,
It is the hand of God.

I wrote the following in my BLOG (Runnemede Remembered) today. I hope it was okay. If not, let me know, and I'll remove it.

You will note that on the side of my BLOG I list several BLOGs that I faithfully read -- every day. The Bridling Place (click on the title of this BLOG to be connected) is one of my favorites. Tyararr Jones writes from his heart -- his heart with a love of God. His poetry is wonderful, IMHO. And if the Spirit moves me, I shall set some of it to music. I hope that is okay with Tyararr.

I do not know Tyararr personally, but he is listed as a favorite BLOG on another one my "every day" BLOGs.

He has just put up several new poems which I think will soothe your soul. Read them.
