TUNE OF MERCY
By: Tyararr J. Jones
Forgiveness finds its familiar place in the midst of spoken word and silent reflection.
Grace is greeted with abundant joy and humility of understanding.
Hope is revealed in the refreshing morning of expectation.
Mercy is turned into song by the acceptance of a broken heart of harmony.
Happiness is unveiled by the clear perspective of unforseen circumstance.
Rebuke is spoken with silent hesitation.
Rehearsed like a symphony my expression finds peace.
Glory is expressed through a melody of inner celebration.
The tune of mercy grasps the reins of rebellious intention.
Humbling it to its reflection of undeserved forgiveness.
All in an instant, these hums of thought are bridled as servant sees the Master and remembers his purpose.

God has given you a wonderful gift, expressing your thoughts of Him to me. I am so blessed by each of your poems. This one -- Tune of Mercy -- was read by me at a time when I needed to hear about God's Mercy (and grace).
